Window vs split
Window AC (1, 1.5 and 2 ton)
Fits in a window or wall opening. It is usually simpler to place, and it costs less than a split of the same tonnage. It needs a proper opening and can be noisier than a split.
Choose this if your flat already has a frame for a window AC, or there is no space for an outdoor unit.
Split AC (1 ton to 2 ton)
An indoor unit on the wall and an outdoor unit outside. It is quieter in the room and a better fit for most modern bedrooms, as long as your society allows the outdoor unit. Inverter models are available in 1 ton and 1.5 ton.
Choose this if you want quieter sleep and have a clear wall and outdoor space for the installation.
Tonnage guide
Tonnage is cooling capacity, not the weight of the machine. Hot, west-facing rooms and rooms with a lot of glass often need to go up a size.

We currently rent ACs in Ghaziabad. We are not renting ACs in Noida or Greater Noida at the moment, but we do rent other appliances there.
