RO, UV and UF in plain language
RO (reverse osmosis)
Removes dissolved salts, which is what brings TDS down. It is the common choice when borewell or hard municipal water tastes salty or leaves scale.
UV (ultraviolet)
Uses ultraviolet light to disinfect the water. It deals with germs, not with dissolved salts, which is why it sits alongside RO in both of our models.
UF (ultrafiltration)
A membrane stage that filters out finer particles and microbes. The premium model includes it, together with in-tank UV.

Installation basics
- Choose a spot near a tap and a power socket, and keep a little clearance around the purifier for servicing.
- The Aquafresh model is about 13 inches by 7 inches by 17.5 inches, and the premium model is about 14 inches by 8 inches by 18.5 inches.
- The premium model lists installation within one day of delivery.

What affects price
